Aldi introduces 'automated traffic light system' across its UK stores to ensure social distancing
After a successful trial of the technology, the traffic light system will be used to track customers going in or out of the store and inform queuing customers when they can safely enter. Each individual Aldi store will have a specific number of customers it can allow at one time to ensure the two-metre social distancing.
