Dutch elite athlete management company Volare Sports launches virtual marathon races

Volare Sports launched the ‘CoronaRun Half Marathon’ that involved over two dozen runners running in isolation. They competed in a half marathon race in the Netherlands on April 4th with each athlete racing around his/her home area in compliance with government directives. The runners timed themselves and, via the GPS system, clocked their finishing times.

The web app includes reviews of health apps across a range of health conditions relevant to COVID, including reviews of COVID apps launched to date. ORCHA is also offering free professional accounts to all NHS staff for the next three months, which let healthcare professionals find and recommend health apps to patients via text or email.
