San Francisco initiative Frontline Foods connects struggling local restaurants with hospital workers

The initiative, launched by a pediatric nurse at UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay in San Francisco and a local restaurant, helps paying struggling restaurants thanks to donations, while feeding hungry hospital workers. Frontline Foods is now expanding to NYC and tries to prioritize hospitals that are already triaging COVID patients and dealing with a high demand.

NBC thriller show ‘The Blacklist’ uses graphic novel animation and home-audio recordings to finish its season finale.

The Blacklist show didn’t finish filming the finale before they halted production with lockdowns. But they found a creative solution: they asked actors to mail sound equipment so they could record their lines at home, then combine live-action footage and 'graphic novel' animation. They managed to complete an episode that will air on May 15.
