NBC thriller show ‘The Blacklist’ uses graphic novel animation and home-audio recordings to finish its season finale.

The Blacklist show didn’t finish filming the finale before they halted production with lockdowns. But they found a creative solution: they asked actors to mail sound equipment so they could record their lines at home, then combine live-action footage and 'graphic novel' animation. They managed to complete an episode that will air on May 15.
